There are four groups in the Abbotsford Homeschool Choir:
- Intro to Choir – Kindergarten to Grade 1 with Mrs. Andrea Pederson
- Choristers (previously Sunshine Singers) – Grade 2 to Grade 4 with Mrs. Andrea Pederson
- The Chorale (previously Choristers) – Grade 5 to Grade 12 with Mrs. Andrea Pederson
- Chamber Singers – ages 13+ with Mrs. Andrea Pederson
- 1- hour String ensemble (RCM Grade 1+) with Chris Savage
- Ukulele with Mark Hildebrand
- Acoustic Guitar Group Class with Mark Hildebrand
Intro to Choir have a 45-minute rehearsal for those who are “unsure” and trying choir for the first time.
The Choristers have a 45-minute rehearsal each week with the primary focus on learning memorable and truthful repertoire while using proper vocal technique.
The Chorale has a 60-minute rehearsal each week during which they will learn how to blend their voices while singing in unison, 2 and 3 parts.
The Chamber Singers is for our older and more experienced singers. The group rehearses for 30 minutes following the Chorale. Singers have the opportunity to rehearse additional repertoire in a small group setting.
There are two terms per school year from September to December, and January to mid-May.
We rehearse on Monday afternoons, at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 33911 Hazelwood Ave, Abbotsford.

- 1:15 pm Intro to Choir with Mrs. Andrea Pederson (alternate space)
- 1:15 pm Acoustic Guitar Group Class with Mark Hildebrand (alternate space)
- 2:00 Choristers with Mrs. Andrea Pederson (sanctuary)
- 2:00 pm Ukulele Group Class with Mark Hildebrand (alternate space)
- 2:45 pm The Chorale with Mrs. Andrea Pederson (sanctuary)
- 3:45 pm Chamber Singers with Mrs. Andrea Pederson (sanctuary NEW! extended rehearsal 3:45 pm – 4:30 pm)
Cost Per Term
- Intro to Choir: $100 per singer
- Choristers: $100 per singer
- The Chorale: $125 per singer
- Chamber Singers: $50 per singer
- NEW! One-time Administration Fee for new students/families
